Allergies
This probably isn't the first time you've heard of them. Allergies are so
common 20% of Americans have some kind of allergic reaction or another to
certain external stimuli whether food, water, or air. But what are allergies?
And why do we get them?
You known you're allergic when you react to certain substances you've been
exposed to before. For instance, you may have eaten shellfish before but the
next time you eat foods containing shellfish, you develop rashes.
A vast majority of people claiming they have wheat allergy may at worst have only food intolerance. Often, the case is that a person has, at one time, tried to remove a food from his diet, say for example, cheese. And the next time they eat it, they develop a headache, prompting them to believe that they are allergic to it.
